Plauen was a travel day; we went through to pick up Paul from a session he had done nearby, on our way to the Czech Republic. Brooks is still with us and we're gonna hang out in Praha and he's gonna fly back to Frankfurt and catch his plane home. Anyways, it felt like such a loooooong stretch between gigs by this point and I, for one was ready to get back to making music!
We pulled into the parking lot where the coach was to stay for the night (parking a bus that large requires logistics) and a group of local teenagers were hanging out on the steps out of the lot. They had a dog and when they saw us, they wanted to know all about us... the only thing was, none of us are fluent in German! It was kinda cool trying to have a brief conversation with them.
But this hotel... man! They had it going on and I would recommend visiting Plauen if not to spend a couple of nights in this joint! Their breakfast game was strong.
